Fimfarum 2

The film is made up of four parts adapted from the stories of Jan Werich. It is the sequel to an earlier film taken from the same book. One part tells what happens to Tom Thumb. Another builds the story of three brothers, the hunchbacks of Damascus. A third is about three sisters trying to enchant the ones they love with a single ring. The fourth remakes an old tale about why the sea is salty, and its subject is greed. Each part is the work of a different director. The account takes itself to be addressed to clever children and clever adults alike. The ninety minutes are shared among four parts. The Czech animation by Vlasta Pospíšilová, Aurel Klimt, Jan Balej and Břetislav Pojar was completed in 2006.
