Raghu has Fregoli delusion: he believes the people in front of him are one and the same person in disguise. His relationships and his work keep collapsing because of it. Then intelligence services, trying to stop a syndicate moving guns from the North into Tamil Nadu, need someone with exactly that trait and decide to use him. The subject is not action but a disorder turned into an instrument. The state does not want to cure Raghu; it steers his delusion into something useful. The film presents this as a triumph, which is the genuinely uncomfortable part. The form belongs to mainstream Tamil action: long fights, crowded chases and songs. It runs two hours and forty-eight minutes. A. R. Murugadoss directs, and his appetite for narratives built on memory and perception disorders has been clear since Ghajini. Sivakarthikeyan leads, with Vidyut Jammwal opposite him and Rukmini Vasanth in the female lead. It opened on 5 September 2025 to a mixed reception. Who it is for: viewers who like large-scale Tamil action and unusual hero constructions. Who it is not for: anyone uneasy about mental illness used as a plot device; the film takes the diagnosis seriously but does not carry it through.
