Mukunthetta Sumitra Vilikkunnu

Mukundan has found a decent job. He is starting to build a career. He is in love with Sumithra. The way ahead looks clear for them. Then someone from the past turns up. His name is Viswanath. They were at college together. His trade now is swindling people. He comes to pay Mukundan a visit. Things start going wrong from the moment he arrives. The lies pile on top of each other. Mukundan finds himself in a situation he cannot get out of, and the misunderstandings keep growing, which is where the comedy comes from. Mohanlal, Ranjini, Sreenivasan, Nedumudi Venu, Thikkurissy Sukumaran Nair and KPAC Lalitha appear in the hundred and forty nine minute film, an Indian production Priyadarshan finished in 1988.
