What Naruto the Movie: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow Is About
Three young ninja sent to a snowbound country to guard a film star discover she is a princess in flight. The narrative does not touch the main story of the series; it is a standalone mission. What makes it interesting is that it uses a film shoot as its joke: the heroes fight in the middle of a production crew. It is the series' first cinema film, made at full length rather than as an extended episode. Who it's for: younger fans who watch the series. Who it's not for: viewers expecting the main story to advance; the events sit outside the canon.
