What Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi Is About
Kasi and Suni are friends from engineering college. Kasi falls in love with Assi, who has come to Kerala to study under the North East quota. A few things then happen, and the two friends get on two motorcycles and set out from Kerala towards Nagaland. It is a journey the length of India: the road, the people, the mountains, and what they pick up along the way. The title itself means blue sky, green sea, red earth. Sameer Thahir directs, with Dulquer Salmaan and Sunny Wayne. It is one of the best known road movies in Malayalam cinema. The route running all the way to Nagaland could fairly be called the film's real subject.
