What Package, Double Package and Counterpackage Is About
Life in Naples is hard, so Neapolitans invent ways of getting by. Whatever works gets done, and most of what gets done is a con: the tax office, the university, the landlord, cruise ship passengers, even victims taken three times with the same trick. Nanni Loy tells this not as a single story but as a sequence of episodes. It leans on the tradition of Neapolitan comedy and neither romanticises poverty nor lectures about it; it presents cunning as both funny and necessary. A hundred and eighteen minutes, with a crowded cast.
