Pingami

Vijay is an army officer. His rank is captain. One day he meets a badly injured man. The man is called Kumaran. A bond forms between the two of them. But Kumaran dies before long. Vijay does not take the death as it is given. He starts looking into how the man died. The trail leads him to his own village. The village is his family’s ancestral place. An old killing comes to light there. That killing has to do with Vijay’s childhood. Vijay grew up an orphan. The reason for it was hidden in that case. Mohanlal and Thilakan take the leads, with Sukumaran also in the cast, in Sathyan Anthikad’s Malayalam film of 1994.
