What Sanmanassullavarkku Samadhanam Is About
Gopalakrishnan knows the only way out of bankruptcy is to sell the property he owns in the city, and to do that he first has to get his tenants out. Facing him is Meera and her family, who will not budge and flatly refuse to leave. He digs a forgotten clause out of the contract, moves into the same house himself, and sets about making life impossible for them. Directed by Sathyan Anthikad and written by Sreenivasan, it became one of the most cited comedies in Malayalam cinema and did well commercially. It was later remade in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and twice in Kannada; the title means roughly peace to those of good will.
