Roughshod

Clay is a rancher. He sets out on the road with his brother Steve. Their way crosses the Sonora mountain pass. Lednov is behind them. Lednov has just come out of prison and wants revenge on Clay. The reason is that Clay had him put away. On the road there is an unexpected meeting. A group of dance hall workers have had their stagecoach break down. Among them are Mary, Marcia and Helen. Clay and Steve take them on to the nearest ranch. But it is there that Lednov catches up with Clay. Robert Sterling and Gloria Grahame take the leads in Mark Robson’s American film of 1949.
