The Big Broadcast

The management of a radio station are uneasy. Their popular new singer keeps turning up late. The reason is plain enough, his love life. His attention is on her and not on the work. In the end she leaves him. The singer is floored by it. Around then he meets a Texas oil man. That man has been wronged by a woman too. At one point the pair try to end their lives together. The plan comes to nothing. The station manager’s assistant steps in. She is in love with the singer and was once engaged to the oil man. Meanwhile the station changes hands. The film also puts the radio stars of the day on screen. Bing Crosby and George Burns appear in the eighty seven minute film, an American production Frank Tuttle finished in 1932.
