What The Olsen Gang Never Surrenders Is About
Egon Olsen comes out of prison with another plan. This time he is aiming high: by stealing DanInvest's unmanipulated financial records he means to take a majority of the shares in the Magasin du Nord department store. The key to it all is a red suitcase, and that suitcase is in Brussels, in the main vault at the headquarters of the European Community. Egon, Benny and Kjeld set off. The journey home is made in a tank. Erik Balling directs, with Ove Sprogøe, Morten Grunwald and Poul Bundgaard once again as the same three. It belongs to one of the longest-running comedy series in Denmark, and like the rest of them it takes its shots at banking and at big money.
