What The Olsen Gang on the Track Is About
Egon Olsen and his two friends have finally got a fortune out of the country and into Spain. They are not happy there, and although Egon keeps the money chained to himself, Bøffen manages to steal it anyway. Egon ends up in prison again, and when he comes out he has another flawless plan: this one involves a train, a locomotive and a timetable that works to the minute. Another link in Erik Balling's Olsen Gang series. Ove Sprogøe plays Egon, Morten Grunwald plays Benny and Poul Bundgaard plays Kjeld. In Denmark these films are a generation's shared memory, and the joke always comes from the same place, from how perfect the plan is.
