They Got Me Covered

Robert Kittredge is a reporter. He made a mess of his last assignment. He was fired over it. His career is not his only problem. His girlfriend Chris has had enough. She is tired of waiting for him to marry her. Then Kittredge gets a tip. There are Nazi agents working in Washington. The story is his chance. He could get his job back. He talks Chris into helping him. The two of them start following the trail. It takes them to a night club. Then to a burlesque stage. The final reckoning happens in a beauty salon. Bob Hope, Dorothy Lamour and Otto Preminger appear in the ninety five minute film, an American production David Butler finished in 1943.
