What Tigers Is About

Ayan sells pharmaceuticals in Pakistan. His job is presenting products to doctors, and when he works out how the infant formula he sells is actually used in poor households, and what follows from it, he turns on the multinational he works for. Danis Tanovic's 2014 film is based on the real case of Syed Aamir Raza, who in 1999, two years after leaving the company, published a report with Baby Milk Action accusing his former employer, Nestle. The film changes the company's name. The reason for that choice is part of the story: the BBC backed the project and then withdrew over fears of a libel suit, and the film did not reach a wide audience until 2018.
