An actor living in Madrid, having decided to stop treatment, spends four days with an old friend who has come from Canada. The hardest item on the list is finding a new home for his dog. The film does not tell the illness through hospital scenes; the narrative is made entirely of errands, and the feeling appears between them. The ease between the two actors is what carries it. Cesc Gay directed, with Ricardo Darin and Javier Camara. It won in several categories at Spain's national film awards. Who it's for: those who like quiet farewells that keep their humour.
