What A Gun in Each Hand Is About
A group of men in their forties have no idea who they are any more: one is depressed, one is trying to get back to his wife, one has taken refuge in pills, one keeps playing seduction games. Cesc Gay builds four sections and eight separate stories out of this, and nearly all of it runs through conversation. The cast is a roll call of Spanish cinema: Ricardo Darín, Luis Tosar, Javier Cámara, Eduardo Noriega, Leonor Watling and Candela Peña. The single keyword in this record is nonsense: midlife has been tagged as the Middle Ages.
