What A Crazy, Crazy Family Is About
Mika is a young woman living, as she puts it, inside a crazy family: her mother is off in her own world, her little sister never stops, her father is well meaning but timid. She is engaged to Mikis, but the day before the wedding she goes to Venice and marries Andreas instead, and the real business begins when she comes home. As Andreas gets to know this family he takes it upon himself to put them all in order, and of course things do not go as he planned. Dinos Dimopoulos’s hundred and one minute Greek comedy is set in the Athens of the sixties and draws its humour from the daily commotion of a crowded house. Jenny Karezi plays Mika and Alekos Alexandrakis plays Andreas; it was completed in 1965.
