What Miss Manager Is About
Lila Vasiliou, newly qualified as a civil engineer, takes charge of a technical firm and the entire staff falls under her orders. At first she sees the men around her purely as colleagues; after some coaching from her cousin she notices that she is also a woman, and sets about getting the attention of Alekos, a junior engineer in the office. Dinos Dimopoulos made it in 1964 from a play by Asimakis Gialamas and Kostas Pretenderis, produced by Finos Film. It is one of the best remembered comedies of the golden age of Greek cinema, and if it still stands up that is largely down to Jenny Karezi's timing.
