Raj runs a trucking business and it is not going well. He sees Priya at a wedding and goes after her. She is engaged; her family knows the situation and objects. Raj does not give up. In the end they marry. The film does not end there; the actual narrative starts after the marriage. Priya comes from a well off family and Raj's world is another. Money trouble, work calls, dinners he is late for. The quarrels repeat and each one arrives at the same place. One day Priya packs her bag. Aziz Mirza directs.
