What Chance or Coincidence Is About
Myriam, once a well-known dancer, loses the man she loves when she decides to have a child, and has to watch her career slide away from her. Years later she meets the man of her life again in Pierre, a skilled forger, and then an accident forces her to build everything a second time. Claude Lelouch shot the film in Calvados, in Montreal and along the St Lawrence, in Venice and around Carrara. Francis Lai and Claude Bolling wrote the music, and Alessandra Martines plays Myriam. The question is in the title: when this much lines up, is the word for it chance, or something else?
