What Dragon Ball: Mystical Adventure Is About
A martial arts tournament is held, and most of those entering are looking for each other for other reasons. The king of the region has a scientist build a weapon. This is a short production separate from the main story of the series; familiar characters are rearranged into different relationships. The narrative uses the tournament structure and the fights come one after another. Kazuhisa Takenouchi directed, based on Akira Toriyama's manga. It is one of the early cinema films of the series. Before watching: it is not tied to the main story and the character relationships do not match the series. It runs under an hour and should be treated as a standalone extra.
