Dragon Ball Z: Wrath of the Dragon

One of the feature films in the Dragon Ball Z series. An old man gives Trunks a music box. When it is opened, a warrior named Tapion comes out. Tapion was sealed inside centuries ago, along with a terrible creature he was containing. The creature is called Hirudegarn and it gets loose. Tapion tries to hold it back with the instrument he carries, but there is a limit to how long he can. The emotional centre is the friendship between Trunks and Tapion. The child attaches himself to a solitary warrior and a relationship rarely seen in the series is built. The sword Tapion leaves Trunks connects to later parts of the story. The fighting is concentrated in the second half, and a new technique of Goku's comes into play. It is the thirteenth feature in the series, shown in cinemas in the mid-1990s, and runs around forty-five minutes. Mitsuo Hashimoto directed. Among the best-liked of the films for anyone who follows anime and this series. For a viewer who does not know the series, the film introduces nobody and starts in the middle of things.
