What Ginger and Cinnamon Is About
Stefania works in a bookshop. Just before it closes for the summer, Andrea walks in, recently left by his fiancée. What starts there turns into a holiday by the sea, a chain of misunderstandings, and a love story watched and reported by the young girl travelling with them. Daniele Luchetti's Italian romantic comedy rests on the idea that children see falling in love more clearly than the adults doing it. Stefania Montorsi plays Stefania, Giampaolo Morelli plays Andrea, and Martina Merlino is the observer. It stays inside the holiday comedy shape and refuses to make a villain out of anyone.
