What Gridman Universe Is About
This 2023 anime directed by Akira Amemiya brings the worlds of the Gridman series together in one film. Yuta Hibiki is now in his second year at Tsutsujidai High School and keeps drawing Gridman, something he cannot remember. Around the same time he decides to tell Rikka how he feels. The quiet days do not last: Gridman comes back with a warning that the balance of this world is collapsing. It carries on the tradition of giant robots, giant monsters and transformation, with plenty of action. It is built for the audience of the series; for anyone arriving without having seen both shows, some of the connections stay closed.
