Her Night of Romance

Paul Menford is an English lord with a title. But he has no money in his pocket. Dorothy Adams is an American heiress. Her health is not good. Paul finds a way to get close to her. He passes himself off as a doctor. With that lie he gets to her side. What he is after is genuine love. But he has a business partner with him. The partner is called Joe Diamond. Diamond smells money in the business. What he is after is the inheritance. Two intentions run along inside the same lie. The account is built on that double game. Constance Talmadge and Ronald Colman take the leads, with Jean Hersholt also in the cast, in Sidney Franklin’s American silent film of 1924.
