What It Was the Son Is About
In the poor ZEN district of Palermo the youngest daughter of the Ciraulo family is killed by a stray bullet in a shootout between mafia gangs. The family receives state compensation as victims of the mafia and spends it on a luxury car, which becomes the pride of the house, bought with the dead child's money. Then one of the sons takes it out and scratches the door, and the real disaster begins there. Adapted from Roberto Alajmo's novel. Our Turkish record says none of this, only that the family is dysfunctional.
