Jackass: Best and Last

The closing film of a twenty-five-year run. It is built in two halves: newly shot stunts and compiled highlights from the earlier films. The crew is the same: Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Wee Man, Preston Lacy, Dave England, Danger Ehren and the newer names added in the last films. Jeff Tremaine directs again. What has changed is age. The men who were in their twenties in the first film are approaching fifty, and the film does not hide it; the injuries, the surgeries and the recovery times have become part of the joke. What was always the best thing about Jackass is still here: not the stunts but the friendship of a group of people who have put up with each other this long. It opened in cinemas on 26 June 2026 and went to digital on 11 August. Against a ten-million-dollar budget it took 27.3 million worldwide, the lowest of the series. Before you watch, know this: if you have never seen a Jackass film this is a poor place to start, because half the compiled material assumes familiarity. It also contains vomit, blood and real injury; anyone with a weak stomach should stay away.
