Karate Warriors

Sakata is a wandering master of karate. He arrives in a town. Two gangs there are at each other’s throats. The quarrel is over a hidden stash. Both sides are looking for it. Sakata does not want to be drawn in. Then he comes across a boy. The boy’s father works for one of the gangs. The man is a master of the sword. Sakata begins to protect the child. At the same time he goes after the stash himself. He sets the two gangs against each other. The fight scenes form the spine of the film. The tension in the town holds to the end. The telling is hard and fast. Sonny Chiba and Akane Kawasaki appear in the eighty nine minute film, a Japanese production Kazuhiko Yamaguchi finished in 1976.
