What Quest for Love Is About
During a demonstration a scientific experiment goes badly wrong and a scientist finds himself in another reality. That world resembles his own, but some things are entirely different: the Second World War never happened, no one has gone into space, Everest has not been climbed. There he is not a scientist but a well known writer. After a loss he suffers in this second world he returns to his own and tries to find the woman he fell in love with there; her life depends on that search as well. Joan Collins and Tom Bell appear in Ralph Thomas’s eighty seven minute British film, completed in 1971.
