Sailor of the King

A British naval officer meets a woman before the war. Their time together is brief. The man goes on his way. The woman has a son. The officer never learns of it. Twenty years pass. The young man joins the navy as well. He serves in the same squadron. The squadron is hunting a German raider. A battle follows. The ship the young man is on goes down. He is taken prisoner. Then he manages to get away. He finds a way to slow the German ship. Those hunting him search the ground. Jeffrey Hunter and Michael Rennie appear in the eighty three minute film, a British production Roy Boulting finished in 1953.
