What Sakar Şakir Is About
Shakir lives in Kayseri and has worn everyone out with his clumsiness. When his uncle dies in Istanbul a large inheritance comes to him, but a relative who does not want to share it starts looking for ways to get rid of him. Shakir sets off, and without ever noticing it he escapes everyone trying to kill him, again through sheer clumsiness. It is one of Kemal Sunal's best known formulas: the innocent from the provinces beats the city sharks by way of his own incompetence. Our Turkish record gives the ending away.
