What Second Žika's Dynasty Is About
In this instalment the worries have changed: the grandson of Zika and Milan is so preoccupied with girls that both grandfathers are alarmed. They consult a doctor and, on his advice, decide to pack the young man off to the countryside so his energy can be spent elsewhere. Zoran Calic's 1986 comedy belongs to one of the most watched Yugoslav film series of the eighties. Dragomir Bojanic and Marko Todorovic play the grandfathers. The humour is entirely of its period, and how it treats its women characters reads as very dated now.
