Zika's Dynasty

The seventh film in a long running Yugoslav popular comedy series, taking its name from the American soap opera that was enormously watched in the country at the time. Misa is a teenager now, interested in his violin rather than in girls. His two grandfathers are worried by this, because they are afraid he will turn out like the gay character in the show they watch, and their solution is to push him toward the young housekeeper. The whole joke of the film therefore rests on two things: the grandfathers' fear of homosexuality, and the arranging of a teenager with an adult woman. What was ordinary for its audience then is uncomfortable now. Dragomir Bojanić and a young Nikola Kojo are in the cast.
