What Like Grandpa, Like Grandson Is About
Miša is five years old and has two grandfathers: Žika and Milan. Each of them wants more time with the boy. Miša lives with his parents at Milan’s place. Žika tries to pull him into his own world, wanting to teach him the tavern and his trade. Milan does exactly the opposite and sends the boy to violin and English lessons. The pulling between the two grandfathers produces one comic situation after another. The film builds it as a family comedy. The ninety two minutes are compressed into a short stretch. What each grandfather wants to hand the boy is really his own life. Dragomir Bojanić and Marko Todorović appear in Zoran Čalić’s Yugoslav film of 1983.
