What Something in the Wind Is About
A wealthy man dies. A large fortune is left behind. His grandson goes after a matter of payments. He learns his grandfather once had a relationship with a woman. He sets out to find her. What he finds is the wrong person. In front of him is a young radio host. The woman he is looking for is her aunt. The grandson does not know this and tries to buy her silence. Rather than correct him, she keeps the game going. The bigger the misunderstanding, the bigger the comedy. Songs come in between. The radio station sits at the centre of the story. As the two of them get to know each other the matter changes. Deanna Durbin and Donald O’Connor appear in the ninety four minute film, an American production Irving Pichel finished in 1947.
