Special Treatment

Doctor Ilic works at a hospital. The hospital is for the compulsory treatment of alcoholics. He has a method he developed himself. He calls it his special treatment. The method involves physical exercise. He has the patients eat apples. He believes listening to Wagner heals. Psychodrama is part of the programme too. The doctor takes six of his patients with him. He brings them to a brewery. At the plant there is a problem of drinking at work. The trip is staged like a demonstration. Things do not go as the doctor imagined. What the journey really brings out is the man’s own character. Ljuba Tadić and Milena Dravić appear in the ninety four minute film, a Yugoslav production Goran Paskaljević finished in 1980.
