Turning Point

Two young couples run away from home. They are heading for Athens. What they are after is a life the countryside did not give them. Things go wrong in the city almost at once. The young men rob a petrol station. They are caught and jailed. The young women start working at a night club. There Daisy meets Panos. Panos races motorcycles. A relationship forms quickly between them. It pulls both of them downwards, and drugs come into it. Before long they are dependent on heroin and will do anything for a daily dose, and the film follows that fall to the end. Panos Mihalopoulos and Sofia Aliberti appear in the hundred and two minute film, a Greek production Giannis Dalianidis finished in 1982.
