What Good Evening to You Is About
Stathis is a young man who runs his own pirate radio station out of his house. But Stamatis and his friends use the same frequency for their station, and the two sides keep breaking into each other’s broadcasts; the fight spills from the studio into the street. There is also Stathis’s love for Koula, and the girl’s large boyfriend Kyriakos turns up in his way every time. The film treats the place of pirate radio among the young in Greece at the start of the eighties as comedy and rests its humour on exaggerated types. In Giannis Dalianidis’s ninety minute Greek film, Stathis Psaltis plays Stathis and Stamatis Gardelis plays Stamatis, with Panos Mihalopoulos in the cast. It was completed in 1982.
