Rome, 1929. The Pope's tailor sends his thirty-five-year-old son Nello to Bologna, a freer city, hoping he will find a wife there. Everything Nello knows about love he learned from poetry, and he has never had a relationship. In Bologna he falls for Angela, a beautiful blind woman. She behaves as though she is interested in him, but she is after something else. Pupi Avati directs, with Neri Marcorè as Nello and Vanessa Incontrada as Angela; Giancarlo Giannini is also in it.
