What Saps at Sea Is About
Stan and Ollie work in a horn factory and Ollie now has a fit at every horn he hears. The doctor prescribes sea air, so they rent a boat with no intention of leaving the dock, and things change when a fugitive hiding on board takes them out to sea. Fifty-seven minutes, and the last film the pair made for the Hal Roach studio. That distinction matters, because the films they made after leaving Roach fell off noticeably; this is the last of their work made inside their own system.
