The Duel

A bank is robbed. The target of the robbery is the Credit Central Bank. The job is done fast and hard. The robbers are a gang of professionals. Officer Moldovan takes on the case. The name at the head of the gang is Rica Pasarin. But what Moldovan is really after is the man behind him. He finds a way to get at that. The way runs through Rica Pasarin’s brother. The brother makes his living as a pickpocket. Moldovan follows the trail by using him. The account is built on that pursuit. Sergiu Nicolaescu and Ovidiu Iuliu Moldovan take the leads, with Jean Constantin, Colea Răutu and George Mihăiță also in the cast, in Nicolaescu’s Romanian film of 1981.
