Revenge

The film was made as the sequel to another. At its centre is the police inspector Tudor Moldovan. In the earlier film Moldovan was thought to be dead. In fact he is alive and comes back. What he returns for is to put an end to Paraipan’s dealings. Then Paraipan kidnaps his child. That event settles Moldovan’s mind. He goes after Paraipan and the names behind him. The fascist movement led by Zavoianu and his allies is among his targets. He acts together with the communists fighting for power. He takes his enemies out of the way one by one. Sergiu Nicolaescu and Gheorghe Dinică take the leads, with Jean Constantin and Amza Pellea also in the cast, in Sergiu Nicolaescu’s Romanian film of 1978.
