What The Tour Is About
In 1993, at the darkest point of the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a group of actors from Belgrade set out to make quick money without the faintest idea what they are walking into, and begin a tour of the Krajina. Before long they are in the middle of the war, thrown from one front to the next and from one army to another, and going on stage comes to mean something different every time. In Goran Marković’s hundred and two minute Serbian film, Tihomir Stanić, Sergej Trifunović, Jelena Đokić, Dragan Nikolić and Mira Furlan appear, with music by Zoran Simjanović. It had its world premiere at the Montreal World Film Festival on 30 August 2008 and was Serbia’s entry for the 2009 Academy Awards.
