Anton Špelec, Sharp-Shooter

Anton Špelec makes musical instruments. What he really cares about is marksmanship. A large parade is being held in the town. Medals are to go to the veteran shooters. Anton is waiting for his. The council has miscounted. They are one medal short. The one left out is Anton. He will have to wait another year. He takes his disappointment to the tavern. He drinks far more than he should, and in that state he insults the emperor. He is sentenced to prison, and rather than serve it himself he sends his employee instead. Vlasta Burian and Růžena Šlemrová take the leads in the eighty minute film, a Czechoslovak production Martin Frič finished in 1932.
