I Am Evel Knievel

The documentary tells the life of Evel Knievel. Knievel was a showman who made jumps on a motorcycle. He grew up in Butte, Montana, and became known across the country. The film includes footage of his best known jumps. At the front of those are the Snake River Canyon and Caesars Palace jumps. His falls, and his getting up to do it again after each one, are inside the account too. The work covers both the show itself and what it cost him. The work joins archive footage to interviews made for the film. Among those who speak are members of his family and known figures such as Matthew McConaughey. Derik Murray and David Ray’s American documentary of 2014 runs ninety four minutes.
