Vijayalakshmi is a middle-class housewife. She lives with her family in Chromepet. She has a husband called Balakrishnan and an eleven-year-old son. She is content with her life but wants more from it. One day she finds work at a radio station. What she does is present a late-night show. The programme is given over to listeners’ troubles in love. That work changes her life from the ground up. The balance between home and work grows harder. The account is built on that change. The film is a remake of the Hindi Tumhari Sulu. Jyothika, Vidharth and Lakshmi Manchu take the leads, with M. S. Bhaskar and Elango Kumaravel also in the cast, in Radha Mohan’s Tamil film of 2018.
