What Return of the Sentimental Swordsman Is About
Li Xunhuan comes home after three years of wandering. What he wants now is a quiet life. But his name still stands at the top of the martial world's ranking, and whoever beats him takes that place; so there is no shortage of men coming after him. Li is also looking for A'fei, the friend he became estranged from. A new power stands in front of them both. Chor Yuen's Hong Kong film is counted among the sword pictures of the Shaw Brothers studio and belongs to the series adapted from Gu Long's novels. Ti Lung takes the lead, with Alexander Fu Sheng, Derek Yee and Lo Lieh in the cast. The sets are built in the studio, misty and frankly artificial; that manner is taken as Chor Yuen's signature.
