What El señor fotógrafo Is About
A travelling photographer falls into the hands of gangsters while trying to buy flowers for his girlfriend; they take him for the assistant of a scientist who has found the formula for a new atomic bomb. The scientist meanwhile has had an accident and lost his memory. A Mexican comedy made in the first years of the Cold War, openly mocking nuclear fear. Cantinflas leads; he was Mexico's best known comedian, and his way of speaking became so famous that it entered Spanish as a verb for talking at length and saying nothing.
