What Entrega Inmediata Is About
Feliciano is an ordinary postman who spends his days delivering letters, until a counterintelligence service recruits him and assigns him to a secret unit called XU-777. His job is to expose an international conspiracy. He has no training and no aptitude, only his mouth and his luck. Every convention of the spy film gets turned over accordingly: the femme fatale, the coded message, the tail, all of them become comedy in his hands. Miguel M. Delgado directs, and Cantinflas plays his own figure again, the man who bewilders everyone by talking, understands nothing, and wins every time. It is a Mexican answer to the spy craze of the sixties.
