In Japan it passed 20.33 billion yen and was the highest-grossing film of 2022. Worldwide it took roughly 246.5 million dollars, placing it among the highest-grossing Japanese films ever. Rotten Tomatoes sits at 95 percent and the CinemaScore grade was an A. Reviews praised the animation, the action and the musical sequences.
